Interesting to have taken the photo from behind the flower head. The beautiful details that the fuzzy stalk has to offer and ever pronounced here. Also are the twisting leave that once held the flower head. I'd like to think that the title gives light to your purpose in taking the photo from behind. Perhaps it is to represent that the flower itself is not summer, but encourages all parties to look onward for it (but that is my conjecture, and I don't mean to impose on your photograph if your intention was different). The light through the petals makes it even more a "sun" flower. As for colours, simple. Green then striking yellow then green. Very simple. Technique, again simple. The focus is perfectly located to the right. It is a lovely photograph, and coupled with the title has roots in meaning. It's simple, easy to see, though not the most impactful photo (I doubt it was meant to be). It is lovely for what it is.
